Friends of Youth Plans Free Dinner to Raise Awareness of Homelessness

The first-annual event will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Redmond on Nov. 2

Friends of Youth will recognize November as Homeless Youth Awareness Month with the first annual Share-A-Bowl meal in partnership with Faith Lutheran Church, located at 9041 166th Ave NE in Redmond.

The event will be held at the church and begins at 5:30 p.m. The cost of dinner is free and will consist of a variety of soups and breads prepared by members of the church.

Share-A-Bowl is an opportunity to learn about youth homelessness on the Eastside, how Friends of Youth is addressing this issue, and how you can help, such as by becoming a dinner donor at the Bellevue shelter.

Attendees are asked to RSVP by Oct. 31 to volunteer coordinator Cheryl Schnelle at Cheryl@friendsofyouth.org or 425-869-6490, ext. 309.
