VIDEO: Teen Rockathon Draws Music Fans of All Ages

Power-pop band Los Gentlemen took top honors at the fifth-annual event.

Janis, Jimi and Journey were all in the house Friday evening at the 's fifth-annual Rockathon.

Five bands of young people between the ages of 13 and 18 competed for various prizes, including time in the teen center's recording studio, music gear and gift certificates. Los Gentlemen, which includes Bellevue brothers T.J., 14, and Jackson Main, 16, and Owen Burr, 15, of Seattle, took top honors at the classic rock-themed contest.

The final round on Friday night marked the cumulation of nearly a month of competition. Other finalists included Stuck on a Bus, Pave the Earth and D-Frost.

Participants were allowed to cover songs from 1950 to 1995 and also had to perform "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey.
