VIEWFINDER: International Night at Einstein Elementary
The school hosted its second-annual multicultural celebration in April.
Einstein Elementary celerbated its second-annual International Night on April 28 with dance performances, food and other cultural opportunities.
"The event is important to us because we have an incredibly diverse student body," Einstein Principal Melissa Pointer said in an email. "We have over 31 different languages spoken at our school. At International Night, we had 16 tables from various cultures and ethnicities that represent our student body."
The evening's performances included the Einstein Choir, an African dance group that included four of the school's sixth-grade girls, a Russian dance group, and a hip-hop group called Skip Hop.
