When our pilot light kept going out last summer we were worried. We kept relighting it, but we couldn't figure out what was going on. At about the same time we noticed that there was often a puddle of water near our heater. We decided to call a heating and air conditioning specialists to check out our unit. It turned out our AC unit was too small for our house and was over running and freezing some of the pipes which would then melt and drip near the pilot light extinguishing it. We got a new AC unit and changed some of the pipe/line location, so far our pilot light hasn't gone out again. http://www.accuflospokane.com
