In honor of Redmond’s 100th Anniversary this year, VALA Eastside [Venues for Artists in the Local Area] is inviting artists to submit original artwork that commemorates Redmond’s Centennial and the artist’s connection to Redmond.
The Centennial Collection will include works selected by a jury of local community members and arts professionals. Artwork will be installed at the VALA Gallery sponsored by Redmond Town Center. The installation is scheduled to open on Dec. 1 to coincide with the Redmond Lights celebration. It will be up for approximately two months.
Visual artists of all mediums who have a connection to Redmond are encouraged to apply.

The Redmond Centennial Collection is in partnership with Redmond Town Center and is sanctioned by the Redmond Centennial Planning Committee. The VALA Gallery is located on the second floor of Redmond Town Center (next to GameStop), It features art exhibitions by local artists and events intended to bring focus on the thriving Eastside arts community.
