Holiday Gift Wrapping by Eastside Audubon at REI in Redmond Town Center

Shopping at REI in Redmond Town Center this season? Give a gift to conservation and conserve some time for yourself by letting Eastside Audubon wrap the gifts you buy while you're there.

Volunteers from Eastside Audubon will be on hand during the busiest days before Christmas to turn your REI purchases into cheerily wrapped presents ready to take home and put under the tree.

Donations received for wrapping gifts will help Eastside Audubon fund its programs in wildlife conservation and youth education. Those programs include habitat restoration on the Audubon BirdLoop at Marymoor Park and classroom presentations about birds and bird behavior for school age children, two examples of year-round Eastside Audubon activities that REI helps make possible through its community outreach efforts.

Eastside Audubon's Holiday Gift Wrap at REI in Redmond Town Center will be open on December 15 and 16 and from December 19 through 24, from noon to 8 p.m. (Ending times may vary on some days to fit store closing times.) Suggested donations will range from $3 to $9 depending on package size.

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
