Spokenword Group Celebrates 15 Years in Redmond

We are a lively band of poets and prose writers who meet on the last Friday evening of the month to share our work.

Since 1997, Redmond Association of Spokenword (RASP) has worked with the local community to bring poetry open mics, workhops, and other performance and educational events to Redmond.

Please join us as we celebrate our 15th Anniversary, with a potluck, limerick contest, and general merriment.

We'll have the grills going, and cake. Lots of cake.

When: Saturday, August 4, 2012--6-9 pm

Where: Adair House, Anderson Park, Redmond

What to bring: A side dish, yourself, friends & family

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
