From :

Redmond-based Motley Zoo Animal Rescue has been selected as one of 500 nonprofit finalists in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program, a major philanthropic initiative in which the automaker is giving 100 cars to 100 charities over the course of 100 days. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was selected as a finalist from more than 4,000 applications nationwide.

Motley Zoo Animal Rescue will be up for consideration on June 12, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. PST ONLY. There is only ONE day to make this count!

Please vote and share!

“Everyone at Motley Zoo is thrilled to have been selected as a finalist for the 2012 100 Cars for Good program,” said Jme Thomas, executive director. “We’re grateful for this incredible opportunity to showcase our mission to help pets in need, placing them in loving foster homes where we can give each one on one attention and care, and hopefully win a car to help us increase our impact in Redmond and the Greater Seattle area. We hope everyone will help us spread the word now and, of course, will make time to visit www.100carsforgood.com on Tuesday, June 12, to vote for us. A new vehicle would really be a game changer for our ability to get pets out of the overflowing shelters, to the vet and into foster homes where they can begin new lives.”

Please help us win this vehicle so we can continue to save pets in our local area!

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
