"Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'" -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Join the Green Redmond Partnership and the friends of Westside Park to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by joining your neighbors in helping to care for your local park. Give back, spend time outdoors, and keep the urban forest healthy. Bring friends and family with you, meet some new friends, or enjoy the quiet of the park on your own. We'll bring the tools, gloves, and any other materials we need; you bring the helping hands.
Time: 9am to 12pm
Where to meet: Westside Park is located at 5810 156th Ave NE. For this event, we will be meeting in the upper grass area of the park.
What to bring: your smile and perhaps a snack (we will supply water - you can bring a water bottle to refill)
Where to park: street parking
Directions to meeting area: From the main entrance to Westside Park on 156th Ave NE, pass the basketball court and cross the lawn toward the forested area. We’ll meet at the start of the trail. Look for signs for the Green Redmond Partnership.
