Hop on Over to the Patch Table at Eggstravaganza this Saturday

We'll have a booth at this weekend's event to meet the community and give away some free Patch swag.

Heading to this Saturday? Don't forget to look for the Redmond Patch booth and stop by to say hello.

We'll have some Easter treats and be signing readers up for our free email newsletter. Everyone who signs up will receive a Patch tote bag or water bottle, while supplies last.

In addition to the main egg hunt, the city's Eggstravaganza event will feature some new activities this year, including an egg roll, arts and crafts, and face painting. Krispy Kreme doughnuts and hot beverages will be available for $1 each, with all proceeds benefitting the Redmond Lions Club.

All the action takes place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Redmond City Hall campus, 15670 NE 85th St. The main egg hunt begins at 10 a.m. sharp.

For more information, visit the city's Eggstravaganza event page. You can also check out our photo gallery from last year's event by

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
