Patch Picks: Catch A Show In Redmond

Want to be entertained? Check out these live and big-screen options around Redmond.

Redmond has no shortage of movie and playhouses, ready to entertain you. Here are some of our local options for an evening out, or perhaps a matinee.

1. , located in Redmond Town Center, is a year-round theater company that does a little bit of everything. Starting Friday, the Rep is featuring Split 2nd Improv, with family-friendly Fridays and Sinful Saturdays — and never the same show twice. Playing through March 19.

2. Looking to plan a group theater night? Check out the a meeting and special events club for adults 21 and older. It shows select new release movies (currently showing Black Swan) in its stadium-style theater room as well as offering private event showings and catering. Big Picture features lounge chairs, shag carpet and crystal chandeliers in the 10,000-square-foot facility, topped with a full-service bar in the main dining area and three pool tables.

3. Want a one-stop theater experience? combines movie-going with fine dining, including Caesar romaine spears, spinach and artichoke pizza, and homemade donuts with seasonal dipping sauces. Diners can choose from a selection of more than 80 wines and 12 beers on tap, including local brews. 

4. For an array of choices, the is a 13-theater Regal franchise that offers the most recent new releases, stadium style seating and Dolby sound.

5. is the classic and classy alternative to the modern movie theatre, located right in Redmond Town Center. It features a full-service bar and a lounge with an extra-wide fireplace. You can enjoy drinks and regional chef–prepared food while you wait to be seated. The theaters are standard-sized but include tables and recliners that are fully equipped with a call button to ring for drinks, food or a blanket and pillow.
