Pet of the Week: Tiger the Tabby

By adopting an adult cat, you not only have less work, but you also can feel good about saving a life.

Tiger is a two-year-old cat with a darling face and an even better temperament.  Many people feel they need a kitten, but adult cats are often a better choice.  Cats can live as old as 20. So, adult cats have many years left. Even better, adopting an adult cat teaches children about saving an animal in need.

Tiger is a good example of a great adult cat. He is litter box-trained and affectionate. Like all cats, he will need a proper introduction to other cats living in the home, but he will be fine once he gets used to them. He also can adapt to a cat-friendly dog and might even play with him over time.

Tiger is healthy (and very handsome, look at that face!). He has been neutered, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed and is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs.

Tiger is an awesome cat, and he only needs about 10 seconds to show you how awesome he is. He will put his head forward and bow for pets and then rub his face on your hands and beg for more more more. He is a young and curious guy with a heart of gold — and he will melt yours quickly.
