Redmond Ridge Library Express Set to Close May 31

It's not clear if or when the satellite library location will reopen.

Redmond Ridge residents will have to travel to the downtown Redmond Library or another branch to pick up books starting next month.

The Redmond Ridge library express location will be closed indefinitely starting May 31, according to post on the King County Library System's website.

KCLS says any reopening will hinge on the results of a remodel and future lease agreement at the Redmond Ridge Community Center, where the satellite branch is currently located.

Starting on May 22, all new book holds placed to the express branch will instead be housed at the downtown Redmond Regional Library. Patrons who would rather visit another KCLS branch—such as Woodinville, Duvall or Sammamish—can change their default pick-up location by speaking to library staff.

Any holds that arrived on or before Wednesday, May 22 can be picked up at Redmond Ridge until Thursday, May 30. After that, they will have expired and will be returned.

The Book Drop will be closed Thursday, May 30. Materials can be returned to any KCLS library (Redmond, Duvall, or Woodinville are closest) until further notice.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
