Redmond Senior Center Hosts Free Support Group for Those Affected by Dementia

The new group will meet on the second Tuesday of the month at the senior center.

The Redmond Senior Center is hosting a new support group for families and caregivers affected by Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other forms of dementia.

The free presentations will feature Karin Miller, a geriatric social worker with 35 years of experience. Attendees will be given the opportunity to ask questions, relate to others, or just listen in.

The group is for people 18 and older and will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 11, Jan. 8, Feb. 12 and March 12 (the second Tuesday of the month) in room 107/108 of the Redmond Senior Center, located at 8703 160th Ave. NE in Redmond.
