Sustainable Redmond to Screen Two Documentaries on the Eastside

The two films focus on sustainable farming and economic development.

Sustainable Redmond, a grassroots organization that advocates for local sustainability, will offer two free documentary screenings this spring in Kirkland and Redmond.

Cindy Jayne of Sustainable Redmond said the group screens documentaries periodically as a way to educate the public about sustainability issues.

“It’s kind of part of our educational mission," she said of the film screenings. "We haven’t quite set up a regular pattern of them yet, but we definitely want to do them occasionally.”
