VIEWFINDER: A Glimpse of Hogwarts in Redmond

Approximately 2,000 Harry Potter fans reportedly turned out to Regal Bella Bottega for the midnight premiere of the series' final movie installment.

Redmond's  cinemas were a magical place to be late last night, as apppoximately 2,000 Harry Potter fans descended on the theater for the midnight premiere of the series' final movie installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

Redmond Patch moms columnist  was among the fans (and parents of fans) who stayed up into the wee hours of the morning in order to be one of the first to see the flick. She captured the image above while waiting in line for the show.

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
