VIEWFINDER: A Soggy St. Patrick's Day Run

Despite steady rain, about 150 brave runners (and walkers) made it out to JJ Mahoney's fourth-annual St. Patrick's Day Run on Saturday.

It wasn't a very lucky day for weather, but the 150 or so runners and walkers who participated in fourth-annual St. Patrick's Day Run this Saturday still managed to channel some Irish cheer.

The 5K event took place on the Sammamish River Trail, and participants made the most of the weather with green ponchos, umbrella hats and other festive rain gear. First-place finishers Matt Roarty (18:36) and Sara Avery (20:21) were each awarded a bucket of beer back at the pub.

Be sure to check out for more parties and celebrations happening later this week.
