VIEWFINDER: School's Out For Summer

The Old FIre House Teen Center hosted an end-of-the-year celebration last week.

Cue the Alice Cooper—school is officially out for summer.

Redmond students celebrated their new-found freedom last week at the "End of School Bash" at the Old Fire House Teen Center. The festive event included a barbecue, live music, games, "water dodgeball" and more.

The afternoon began with a three-on-three basketball tournament that pitted teen players against Redmond firefighters and police officers. Players in the "Hoops for Food" tournament donated cans of food to Redmond-based .
