  • Where/When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Leary Way and Bear Creek Parkway.
  • Why Go: Redmond Saturday Market will be welcoming shoppers to its 37th season with a full lineup of vendors and live music. Don't miss the 9 a.m. ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor John Marchione and the Redmond High School band.
  • Pricing: Admission is free.

  • Where/When: Noon to 9 p.m. at in Redmond
  • Why Go: Take your pick from a list of more than 20 varieties of beer at the Redmond brewery's third-anniversary party. Five bands will perform; Black Raven's grill (brewery brats and chips, cash only),  and taco truck Los Chilangos will provide the grub.
  • Pricing: Admission is free.

  • Where/When: 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 6, meets in front of the Justice White House at 7730 Leary Way NE.
  • Why Go: Join historian Tom Hitzroth in a walking tour to some of the downtown area's oldest and most storied locations. Commemorate Redmond's centennial year by learning what life was like when the city was just a small logging and farming town. Note: tour will not be held in the event of rain.
  • Pricing: Tours are $8 per person with proceeds benefitting the historical society. Register by Thursday by calling 425-885-2919 or emailing info@redmondhistoricalsociety.org.

  • Where/When: 7 p.m. Saturday at SecondStory Repertory Theater
  • Why Go: Catch an early glimpse of what the Redmond theater has in store for its 14th season at a special preview event this Saturday. The fundraising event will include a silent auction and performances by SecondStory rep actors and guests.
  • Pricing: Tickets are $35. Click here to purchase.

  • Where/When: Saturday at various bars and restaurants
  • Why Go: Looking for a place to don a sombrero and sip cervezas this Saturday? of Redmond establishments that will be hosting fiestas in honor of Cinco de Mayo.
