March Madness at Salt Lounge/iPic Theaters

  • Where/When: 3-8 p.m. Saturday, March 31 at at Redmond Town Center
  • Why Go: March is almost over, leaving just a few more NCAA basketball games for the year. This Saturday's final four will feature Louisville versus Kentucky at 3 p.m. Pacific Time, and Ohio State versus Kansas at 5:50 p.m. Salt Lounge at iPic Theaters will be showing both games and offering 50 cent wings to hungry March Madness fans.
  • Pricing: Admission is free.

  • Where/When: 6:30-9 p.m. Friday, March 30, at the .
  • Why Go: Join best-selling author Bonny Becker at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse during its RASP Reading Series. This is your chance to interact and ask questions with a renowned children's author. Stick around after the discussion for the spoken word open mic.
  • Pricing: Free.

  • Where/When: 9 p.m.-midnight on Saturday, March 31, at in Redmond.
  • Why Go: Grab your wives, your dates, your mates and join Celtic Bayou for some live music. Way Too Loose will be entertaining crowds with their blues and classic rock tunes all night long. Enjoy the show!
  • Pricing: No cover.

  • Where/When: 1-4 p.m. Sunday, April 1, at Elite Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Family Fitness Center of Redmond.
  • Why Go: Join Elite Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Family Fitness Center of Redmond for its grand opening and an open house. The event will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. with the Redmond Chamber of Commerce. Jiu-jitsu demonstrations will start at 1:15 p.m., followed by Wrestling, Judo and Zumba demonstrations. At 3 p.m. there will be a raffle drawing with a few give-aways. Families of the gym will be bringing a potluck of their heritage and Elite will provide pulled pork sandwiches and water. People can come casually dressed; schedules will be available and everyone's first class is free.

  • Where/When: 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 1 at in Renton.
  • Why Go: Come on out and show your Seahawks spirit at the 2012 Seahawks 12K Run this Sunday at The Landing. The run will start and finish at The Landing and run along the southeast shore of Lake Washington, offering participants a unique opportunity to run around the Seahawks training facility, the Virginia Mason Athletic Center. Take part in the ROOT Sports Seahawks Spirit Contest by wearing your favorite Seahawks paraphernalia or costume! Prizes will be awarded to 10 lucky winners.
  • Pricing: Registration ranges between $10 and $45.

  • Where/When: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31 throughout Woodinville.
  • Why Go: Join Woodinville Chamber this Saturday as it celebrates Woodinville! Start the day with a pancake breakfast at Woodinville Fire & Rescue from 8 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Visit the Woodinville Chamber website for more details.
