Wind Advisory, Flood Watch Issued for King County

Wind gusts as high as 30 mph are expected in Redmond tonight.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory and flood watch for King County and much of Western Washington, with the latest Redmond forecast calling for wind gusts up to 30 mph tonight.

Tonight's forecast also predicts a 100 percent chance of precipitation, with steady south winds between 16 and 23 mph.

Tomorrow, the wind is expected to continue in the 23-26 mph range before decreasing to between 9 and 12 mph.

Rain will also stay likely through Thursday, according to the NWS. The flood watch says flooding is possible from Tuesday night into Wednesday on the region's most flood-prone rivers, including the Snoqualmie.
