Deadline Approaches for Sixth-Annual Teen Rockathon

Musicians have until March 2 to submit their applications.

Redmond's Old Fire House Teen Center is now accepting applications for the sixth-annual Rockathon, set for April 13 at the teen center.

From those who submit applications, eight semifinalists will be selected to perform in front of a panel of music industry professionals on March 23 and 24. From there, four finalists will be chosen to play at the final competition on April 13.

The contest is open to musicians between the ages of 13 and 18. Performers from all genres are encouraged to apply, but all songs performed during the semifinal and final rounds must be classic rock covers.
