The Redmond Youth Partnership Advisory Committee annual Girls Unlimited series begins this year with the theme “What if girls ran the world” on Saturday, October 15 from 10 am to 2 pm at Redmond City Hall, 15670 NE 85th Street.
Targeted for young women 12 to 19 years old, Girls Unlimited is a day of fun and learning. Local community leaders will share stories about their experiences as leaders, what it takes and the challenges they faced. Interactive activities will help participants experience being leaders and forming groups.
Girls Unlimited began after requests from local girls. Its goal is to empower young women in the community to take charge and be participants in their lives as they change and grow.
