Redmond-based nonprofit Hopelink is commemorating 40 years of serving east and north King County with an anniversary gala May 19. The evening event will include a four-course dinner with hosted wine, dancing and live and silent auctions -- offering once-in-a-lifetime experiences, travel, award-winning wines and unique art. All proceeds benefit Hopelink.

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on the…Read More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
