The "Marymoor Curse" Strikes Again

Last night I went to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs concert in Marymoor Park and got a dose of the curse.

The show was spectacular, the audience enthralled... Then it ended promptly at 10 p.m.

I had been lost in the show and secretly amazed that I wasn't trying to beat the traffic rush after the encore, but then I realized it was because they only played for an hour or so. I know it was a Monday night, but what the...?

When I mentioned this fact to my friend, a girl nearby joined our conversation.

"It's the Marymoor Curse," she told me. "The shows here are always too short."

I understand schedules and noise curfews, but if I would have known Marymoor Park was going to shut down early enough that I could be in my bed by 11 p.m., I'm sure I wouldn't have spent $99 on a concert ticket.

What do you think about the Marymoor Park curfew? Tell us in the comments.
