Young at Heart: Artists in Their Nineties Display Paintings

A gallery featuring the artwork of three women in their 90s is on display now at the Redmond Senior Center.

An art gallery featuring paintings by three local nonagenarians is now on display at the Redmond Senior Center.

Doris McFarland, Jessie Fernandes and Lucille Berkowitz are all in their 90s and all remain active artists. McFarland, the youngest of the group, grew up in Redmond.

The artists' work will remain on display at the senior center through the end of the year during regular operating hours of 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Some of the pieces are for sale.
