Black Friday: What Time Does Redmond Town Center Open?

Deal-hunters, here are opening times for area shopping centers and big box stores such as Target, as well as info on the Macy's Parade in Seattle.

The holiday shopping season kicks off in a big way with Black Friday, when retailers officially unveil their bargains. Some aren't even waiting until the Thanksgiving leftovers are cold.

Here are Black Friday (or Thursday) hours for area shopping centers and stores:

Redmond Town Center: Many stores will have extended hours, with the following opening at midnight: Macy's, Aeropostale, American Eagle, Eddie Bauer, Etiquette, GAP, Pafrumerie, Sweet Factory, Trio and Zumiez. Here are all the Redmond Town Center store hours for Black Friday.

Target: Open at 9 p.m. Thursday. Here are the "doorbuster" deals.

Sears: Open at 8 p.m. Thursday. Here are the Black Friday deals.

Walmart (Kelsey Creek and Factoria, in Bellevue): Open at 8 p.m. Thursday. Here are the early deals.

Bellevue Square: Open at 6 a.m. Friday, although Macy's opens at midnight. JC Penney opens at 6 a.m., and Nordstrom opens at 8 a.m. Here's a look at hours and deals.

Downtown Seattle: Westlake Center opens at 8 a.m. The Macy's Parade starts at 9 a.m., with the tree lighting at 5 p.m.

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
