The franchise school has locations in Southeast Redmond and Redmond Ridge, both of which are owned and operated by Redmond couple Jeff and Shauna Barison. Goddard received 85 of 145 votes in our poll and also pulled in the most reader comments.

Here is one example of the glowing reviews left by several Goddard parents on our :

Redmond's Goddard School is simply amazing! I have sent both of my boys to this school and cannot believe how they have just blossomed - socially, emotionally and academically! My kids love this school and it's obvious how much the owners and staff are invested in each child's success. I would whole-heartedly and enthusiastically recommend Goddard School to any parent!

From the other comments, however, it's clear Redmond has more than one excellent preschool. Parents also left enthusiastic reviews for , which came in second place in the poll, , and others.

We hope that in the future, mothers and fathers seeking a safe and nurturing preschool for their children will find this story and poll, because it is so instructional and informative. A sincere thank you to everyone who participated.

And on with the third in our series of Readers’ Choice polls: Best place in Redmond to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, coming up next Saturday, March 17. A story announcing the new poll will post here at 5 a.m. on Monday. We've already begun compiling our list of St. Paddy’s spots, and of course we know full well and will be major contenders.

But this poll isn't limited to just Irish pubs. We welcome nominations for other great St. Paddy’s Day places to put on our poll. Please email the editor at Caitlin.Moran@Patch.com or let us know on Facebook.
