iPic Theaters Hosts Members Film Festival

The top 16 movies will be shown at an Earth Day film festival at iPic locations around the country.

Calling all film enthusiasts: is now inviting its members to submit short movies for an Earth Day film festival this spring.

The theme of the contest is Earth Preservation, and the top 240 films from each iPic market will be screened at the local theater on March 28, April 4 and April 11. A screening of the top 16 nationwide submissions will take place on April 20 at each iPic theater.

Each film must be between two and six minutes in length. To submit an entry, you must first sign up for iPic's free membership and then submit the film on the iPic Redmond Facebook page. The deadline to do so is Feb. 10.

Initial finalists will be selected via a Facebook vote, while the top 16 films will be chosen by audiences at each iPic locations. The grand prize winner will receive $4,000, and two runners-up will win gift cards of $250 and $150.
