Kimmel Athletic Supply Takes Trophy in Readers' Choice Poll

The final buzzer has sounded in this week's . Congratulations to for being named Best Place for Sporting Goods by Redmond Patch readers.

The Spokane-based sporting goods company and sells apparel and equipment for athletes of all ages. Kimmel brought in 68 percent of the votes in our poll, edging out , another local favorite, and even national outfitters .

Here is what one happy customer, P. Frank, had to say about Kimmel:

I have kids playing baseball and softball right now. You cannot find the quality equipment anywhere on the eastside that you can find at Kimmel Athletic. We found a great selection of bats, gloves, shoes for our kids. Knowledgable staff helped us select what was right for our kids at their age, skill level, and position. I can recommend them completely.
