Correction: Molbak's to Close Redmond Wholesale Farm

The company says it wants to direct more focus on its Woodinville store.

Molbak's will close its Redmond wholesale farm in an effort to direct more focus on its Woodinville store, a company marketing representative announced in an email earlier today.

Molbak's Plant Farm, located at 12712 Woodinville-Redmond Road approximately 3 miles from the company's main facility in Woodinville, "has enjoyed a long residence in the beautiful Sammamish Valley and has been a great site for growing gorgeous, healthy plants. Molbak’s famous poinsettia crop is currently growing at the Farm and will arrive at the store in early November,” marketing manager Lisa Moses wrote in the email.

Molbak's is not the first business to vacate space near the intersection of Northeast 124th Street and Woodinville-Redmond Road in recent months. Beloved ice cream shop Theno's Dairy after nearly 70 years in business.
