Redmond's family center will close at the end of the month, owner Sharman Ghio said in an announcement posted Tuesday on the business' Facebook page.
It is with mixed emotion that I announce that Orange Blossom Society will close in its current capacity at the end of August. I have had the pleasure of building relationships with wonderful families, artists, business owners and others who have embraced OBS and I am truly thankful for the support and encouragement I received to live out this dream and provide the community with a special place.
I look forward to pursuing my next venture. Thank you to everyone who supported OBS.
The center had operated out of a craftsman house in downtown Redmond for the past three years and offered a variety of classes and workshops for children. ( to see an earlier feature story about Orange Blossom Society on Redmond Patch.)
