Owner of Full Tilt Ice Cream to Open Highscore Burgers in Redmond

On March 1, Justin Cline and entrepreneur Gorman Eng will open Highscore Burgers in Redmond in the space that formerly housed the Indian restaurant Preet's at 8440 160th Ave NE.

Seattle ice cream impresario Justin Cline is taking the Full Tilt franchise to a meatier level.

On March 1, Cline and entrepreneur Gorman Eng will open Highscore Burgers in Redmond in the space that formerly housed the Indian restaurant Preet's at 8440 160th Ave NE.

Highscore aims to take everything that made Full Tilt famous – ice-cream, pinball, culture – and round it out with a selection of classic burgers. Every Highscore hamburger will be made with local, healthy ingredients, according to a news release. The beef will be locally sourced and grass fed. Buns will be baked locally, and sauces and other toppings will all be house made. Even the french fries are going to come from potatoes grown in Washington.

“We’re just going to make big, honest burgers," Cline said. "And we’re going to keep prices down, so an ordinary family can afford to eat there.”

Cline and Eng are currently painting and building out the space, which will have plenty of pinball and vintage arcade games, and plenty of Full Tilt ice cream flavors. Cline told Patch they chose the space "because of the lay out is going to work well for our concept, and there is a high population density and little competition in the area."

This will be a great family addition! My twins love pinball and I appreciate their commitment to keeping prices lower for families. Last time we had Zeeks, it was 100 bucks for a family of 4.

Soooooo happy about this. This will be in walking distance of my house! My family of three will be regulars for sure.

Thrilled to see another family-friendly eatery in Redmond and even more excited they are committed to locally raised, grass fed beef, yay!!

I wish I could say they lived up to the hype. The ice cream was great, the burgers were not. Burned and very expensive. We are an "ordinary" family of 2 adults and 3 kids and it was a budget breaker! No kids menu pricing. It's a shame they have a good location.
