Redmond Top Pot Opens Friday—What's Your Favorite Doughnut?

Downtown Redmond will get a bit sweeter starting at 6 a.m. Friday.

Mmmm doughnuts. Along with beer and pizza, they're one of those ubiquitous American menu items that seem to bring people together from all background and walks of life.

Downtown Redmond will have one more place to pick up the tasty treats come 6 a.m. Friday, when Seattle-based Top Pot Doughnuts opens its 13th café below the Red 160 apartments on Cleveland Street.

What's your favorite kind of doughnut? Tell us in the comments section.

Along with doughnuts, Top Pot also serves hand-roasted coffee, espresso and other pastries. Free wi-fi is available in Top Pot's cafés.

Shop hours will be 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the weekends. The café's address is 16015 Cleveland St.

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
