Redmond Town Center Offices Sold for $185 Million

According to a report in the Puget Sound Business Journal, Shorestein Properties bought the office space, occupied largely by Microsoft and AT&T.

Correction: The Lake Washington School District is not a tenant, but rather owns the building it occupies. This detail has been corrected in the story.

About 600,000 square feet of office space at Redmond Town Center, which includes tenants such as Microsoft andΒ AT&T, has been purchased for $185 million by Shorenstein Properties.

The Puget Sound Business Journal reported Tuesday, July 2, that a spokeswoman for Shorenstein confirmed the purchase.

The buildings have been for sale since earlier this year, and the retail portion, also roughly 600,000 square feet, is reportedly for sale as well by Macerich, a California-based company that bought the property for $95 million in 1999.

Shorenstein also holds The Spring District in Bellevue,Β the former 36-acre site of the Safeway Distribution Facility, currently improved with a 699,455 square foot, six building industrial storage facility.Β
