Sandwich fans are getting more options around Redmond these days.
National chain Jimmy John's opened its second Redmond location on Dec. 11, joining other chains like Potbelly, Jersey Mike's and Subway in the array of options for submarine sandwich lovers.

The new Jimmy John's shop is located in a former Taco del Mar restaurant, across the street from Trader Joe's at 8074 160th Ave. NE. General manager Amhed Ibrahim, a Redmond resident who previously worked at the other Jimmy John's near Whole Foods, said the second location is slightly larger than usual and features newer equipment.
Jimmy John's sells a variety of 8-inch "gourmet subs" for $4.99 and "giant club sandwiches" for $5.99. (See the complete menu here or in the photo gallery.)
Delivery is available within a one-mile radius from the shop, Ibrahim said. Delivery orders are typically rounded up to the nearest dollar, he said, but there is no official delivery charge.
