Sorrento's Coffee Closing Feb. 17

A manager told Patch that poor sales have prompted the closure of the Redmond Ridge coffee shop.

on Redmond Ridge will close Feb. 17, a store manager confirmed to Patch Thursday afternoon.

Glen Kim said the shop has struggled financially because of the down economy, high rent rates, and being in a location with low visibility from the main road. He said the shop has been open on the Ridge for the last 10 years and is currently losing between $100 and $200 each day.

"It's not a viable business," he said.
