It's one of the most anticipated events of the year—the Auction of Washington Wines. And this year will be the party of all parties as it is the 25th anniversary of this stellar event! This fun-filled event showcases our state's growing wine industry with three days of sipping, tasting and partying with nearly 3,500 individual and business participants. It all benefits Uncompensated Care at Seattle Children's Hospital and Washington State University's Viticulture and Enology Program. So come on, get "WOW'd" by the wines of Washington and plan to join us. This is one summer party you don't want to miss!

Finn Hill Winery: Finn Hill turns Purple

We are now making the Piadina flatbreads again! Join us at Woodhouse for our Thursday Night Happy Hours. An elegant relaxing place with a unique ambiance for you to hang out and socialize after a long day at work. We will have $5 a glass wine specials and $5 Piadina flatbreads. Piadina's are rustic flatbreads originating from the Emilia Romagna region of Italy. We hand make them in our kitchen, and they are spectacular (So, is the wine). DiStefano presents yet another stirring evening of MUSIC on the Deck! The local virtuosos on hammond organ, bass, guitar, drums, with guest star guitarist from Russia will play a variety of Flamenco, Jazz and Rock tunes on our deck right outside the winery. A variety of delicious TAPAS will be available for purchase. It also became a tradition to make a special WINE just for this occasion. This year we created a Right Bank Bordeaux-style blend in appreciation for music and our love for the talented musicians! We are known for our Cigar Dinners, with our barrel bonfires, rich wines and exquisite dinner. Barking Frog Executive Chef, Bobby Moore will prepare a five-course dinner and Mark Newton, DiStefano Winery Owner and Winemaker, will pair each course with wine and fine cigars. On March 11, 2011 Japan was struck by the Great East Japan Earthquake, the largest earthquake in its recorded history. Even today, the work continues to rebuild the homes, schools, and businesses -- the lives-- destroyed by the event. This month's wine walk is "Bite at the Warehouse". Some of the wineries will be paired with restaurants or food vendors providing samples or bites for $1-$5. Join us and other warehouse wineries for this most popular wine walk event. Intrigue Chocolate will be at the winery with samples of their luscious truffles. They will be providing paired samples of their chocolates and will have truffles and truffle bars for sale too. This is a "bring your own glass" event.
