Burn Ban Lifted for King, Snohomish Counties

A Stage 1 ban remains in effect for Pierce County. A change in the weather is expected to end stagnating conditions that have persisted for weeks.

The Stage 1 burn ban for King and Snohomish counties has been lifted by the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency as of 1 p.m. Monday.

A change in the weather, with rain and modest winds in the Redmond forecast for Tuesday night, is expected to reduce stagnating conditions that have persisted for some three weeks.

The Stage 1 ban remains in effect for Pierce County.
