Funeral Services Set for Jackson Roos

The service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Stake Center on 172nd Avenue Northeast.

Funeral arrangements have been set for Jackson Roos, the 12-year-old Redmond boy who died in a tragic zip-lining accident on Wednesday.

The following information is posted on the Jackson Roos Memorial Facebook page, which was approaching 2,000 "likes" late Thursday night.

Jackson Roos' funeral arrangements are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, October 1st and 2nd, as follows:

All friends, family and kids of all faiths are invited.

Monday, October 1st: 
Viewing - 6.00 p.m. - 7.30 p.m.
Location: 10115 172nd Ave NE, Redmond WA 98052 (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Stake Center, very near Redmond High School and Hartman Park Baseball fields)

Tuesday, October 2nd: 
Viewing - 10.00 a.m. - 11.00 a.m.
Private Family Viewing - 11.00-11.30 a.m.
Funeral Services - 11.30 a.m.-1.00 p.m.
Location: 10115 172nd Ave NE, Redmond WA 98052 (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Stake Center, very near Redmond High School and Hartman Park baseball fields)

Interment will immediately follow funeral services at Sunset Hills Memorial Park. 1215 145th Place SE, Bellevue WA 98007

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
