Issaquah Dance Theatre Presents Alice in Wonderland

  • Why Go: Nothing says old-fashioned fun like a town picnic, especially if ice cream and fiddling are involved. Join the Redmond Historical Society at Anderson Park this Saturday for an afternoon of food, friends and music from the Old Time Fiddlers. You can also buy a raffle ticket for your chance to win a handmade quilt that showcases Redmond's historic past.

RAC to Redhook Fitness Run

  • Why Go: If you're anything like me, you believe the best reward for a serious workout session is a hearty meal and hoppy beverage to offset all those calories you've just burned off. The RAC to Redhook Fitness Run makes that arrangement extra easy by putting runners on a flat, 4.5-mile course leading directly to a brewery. Even better, there's a fun fitness challenge at each mile marker, and proceeds benefit .

Goose Bumps! The Science Of Fear

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Pacific Science Center, 200 Second Avenue North, Seattle
  • Why Go: 'Cause it’s all about phobias — coulrophobia, pyrophobia, or aviophobia (the fear of clowns, fire and flying). Saturday is the first day of the new exhibit, which explains what happens to our bodies when fear kicks in.
