Redmond Patch Week in Review

Catch up with what's been going on around town over the last week.

Monday: We started the week off with a . The independent clothing store is in the process of moving from Redmond Ridge to a smaller, more centralized location in downtown Redmond.

Tuesday: We told you about a that is prompting a staffing reduction at Station 13 on Union Hill. A total of three firefighter positions are being eliminated through attrition, effective Jan. 1.

Wednesday: The debate surrounding a proposed 28-acre development in Overlake continues, as the Redmond City Council . Opponents are concerned about the size of the project and the property owner's plans to remove more than 1,000 trees from the site.

Thursday: Bradley Nakatani of Kirkland while riding his bicycle home from work in Redmond. Nathan Godwin, a 26-year-old Redmond man who was driving the SUV, is awaiting charges of vehicular homicide. Police say Godwin was intoxicated when he hit Nakatani, a longtime cyclist who was wearing lights and reflective clothing.

Also on Thursday, at Marymoor Park in Redmond. The extravagant horse show begins its run in Redmond on Jan. 24.

Friday: We got some that was filmed at Hartman Park and the Redmond Pool earlier in the week. It's possible the video might be turned into a commercial at some point in the future.

Saturday: Search and rescue crews from King, Pierce and Snohomish counties , looking for signs of a Redmond woman who has been missing for more than a month. Police said Lorill Sinclaire, 48, was last seen in that area on Nov. 8 when she went to visit her boyfriend.
