Here's a quick recap of our top stories from the past seven days.

Monday: Redmond Police at the vacant Group Health property over the weekend. Five individuals were arrested there early Sunday morning on suspicion of trespassing. Police believe the incident might be connected to a burglary that took place at the same location approximately 24 hours earlier.

Tuesday: Our , a Lake Washington School District program that helps developmentally disabled students prepare to enter the work force. The academy recently moved from Redmond Way into a new office at the Together Center.

Wednesday: Members of Redmond's new Islamic center, operated by the Muslim Association of Puget Sound (MAPS), are called "Many Cultures, One Community." The monthly gatherings will feature a documentary film and informal discussion about different topics related to Islam.

Thursday: A is trying to make it a bit easier for people to obtain housing assistance in east King County. Family Housing Connection will start later this month and enable families and individuals to apply for several different housing options by calling one number and making one appointment.
