Monday: We told you about a former Microsoft engineer who took his home-brewing passion and . Twelve Bar Brews serves beer out of a small tasting room and also distributes to several bars and restaurants on the Eastside.

Tuesday: The memorial for slain Mount Rainier National Park ranger Margaret Anderson drew attention from around the region and nation. Patch of images from the procession, which began in Lakewood and continued to the campus of Pacific Lutheran University in Parkland.

Wednesday: Dr. Traci Pierce, the preferred superintendent candidate of the Lake Washington School District, . Many of those in attendance said they support Pierce because she is already an experienced LWSD administrator.

Thursday: Johnnie Lee Wiggins, the supsect in the slaying of Woodinville High School teacher Prudence Hockley, to second-degree murder. Hockley's memorial service will take place next Saturday, Jan. 21, at 6:30 p.m. on the University of Washington campus.

Friday: Redmond's car owners . There have been five incidents in apartment complex parking lots since Jan. 1.
