Redmond Patch Week in Review

Here's a quick recap of some of our top stories from the past seven days.

Monday: We started the week off with a , a country-themed Redmond shop that goes all out for the holiday season. The winter wonderland includes 30 themed Christmas trees, among countless other seasonal decorations.

Tuesday: The Redmond City Council on property owned by Group Health Cooperative in the Overlake area. The mixed-use project calls for 10-12 apartment buildings and 1.4-million square feet of commercial space, and will also remove more than 1,000 trees from the property.

Wednesday: Volunteers to collect toys and other gifts that company employees had donated to Hopelink. The donations go to low-income parents who "shop" for their children's presents at Hopelink facilities around King County.
