Road Closure, Signal Replacement to Affect Traffic This Week
Part of Avondale Way will be closed tonight, and a signal on 161st Avenue Northeast will be replaced today and Thursday.
Two construction projects could cause delays for drivers heading through Redmond this week.
Avondale Way between Northeast 79th Street and Avondale Road Northeast will be closed between 8 p.m. tonight and 6 a.m. tomorrow as part of a re-channelization project. Access will be available for local residents only.
Between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. today and Thursday, signals will be in flash mode at 161st Avenue Northeast between Cleveland Street and Redmond Way as crews will replace a signal as part of the city's 161st Avenue NE extension project. A police officer will direct traffic through the intersection during that time.
