Two 520 Closures This Weekend for Seafair Activities

The drawbridge will open at 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Sunday to allow a tugboat to pass through.

Drivers should expect delays of at least 30 minutes this Friday evening and Sunday morning as crews raise the State Route 520 drawbridge to enable a tugboat to pass through.

The temporary closures, scheduled for 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Sunday, will allow passage for the Major General Henry Knox tugboat, which is assisting with Seafair activities.

The I-90 bridge will at different times during the weekend in connection with the Blue Angels Seafair show.

The 520 bridge is also scheduled to temporarily close at 9:30 p.m. Thursday to allow a large sailboat to pass through. That closure is also expected to cause driver delays of at least 30 minutes.
