Dance Performances at VALA Art Studio

In conjunction with the VALA Art Studio: Artist in Residence (AIR) Program, a holiday venue for artists in action in Redmond Town Center, VALA will host special events for the community to meet local artists in action, purchase handmade arts and participate in art activities including music and dance performances. All events will take place in the former Borders Bookstore at 16549 NE 74th Street.

The following are performances by local dance companies on Saturday, Dec 21st.

11:00am & 2:00pm - Gotta Dance ballet performances – a Redmond based dance studio offering a variety of classes for ages 2 through adult from an award winning performing team and supporting the greater Seattle area for 24 years through community service projects, mentor ships, summer camps, and after school programs.

3:30pm - Tara Academy of Irish Dance - located in the Greenwood neighborhood in Seattle, Tara Academy of Irish Dancers range in age from 5 years to adult and from beginner to world qualified champions. Dancers (Brendan Herridge, Bouchard siblings) will perform soft and hard shoe steps to traditional Irish dance music.
