Downtown Regional Stormwater Facilities Plan Community Meeting

Redmond Way Water Quality Facility

In 2006, Redmond's City Council began a journey toward retrofitting the downtown area with stormwater treatment and conveyance that benefits fish and supports growth. This downtown Regional Stormwater Facilities Program is funded by developers, stormwater ratepayers, and state grants. The City developed a plan of six facilities that would retrofit the 500 acres of downtown Redmond with stormwater conveyance and treatment to Ecology standards. The City has constructed four of those facilities and is now poised to build the next big project, a stormwater treatment facility on the Redmond Way outfall.

Following a brief presentation at 5:30pm, meeting participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and share concerns. City staff and project consultant will be available for the remainder of the meeting so participants can view and provide written comments on planned improvements. Meeting materials will be available on the city's website the day after the meeting.
