Eastside Catholic Drama proudly presents Harvey, by Mary Chase.  Elwood P. Dowd lives in a small town with his sister Veta, niece Myrtle Mae, and closest friend, Harvey; a spirit taking the form of a human-sized rabbit that only Elwood sees.  After his sister tries to commit him to a mental institution, a comedy of errors ensues. Elwood and Harvey become the catalysts for a family mending its wounds and for romance blossoming in unexpected places.  Winner of the Pulitzer Prize, Harvey is a play that simply cannot be missed. Tickets are $10 general admission and can be purchased online through November 14.  The show will be in the Crusader Black Box Theater (E203). Seating is limited to 70 guests per show, buy tickets in advance to avoid missing this must see opportunity.

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
